It started with a road trip
We were driving through the Highlands in search of sunshine, when we came up with the idea for Tens. You might not think of sunglasses and Scotland as the perfect match, but that’s sort of the point. Developed by photographers (Marty, Tom & Kris), we thought it would be cool to take the rich, warm colours we add to our photos and apply them to real life. And so, countless rounds of prototypes and one crowdfunding campaign later, Tens came to life.

Each lens is forged by our background in photography combined with optical expertise of our development team based in Lyon, France.

Our collection is proudly designed by our in-house studio in Edinburgh. Working closely with expert international partners, we bring deep product knowledge and a clear, considered design language to every frame, each one thoughtfully paired with our signature colour-enhancing lens tints.

Join the club
Established in 2014, we felt that sunglasses shouldn’t be focused on how you look whilst wearing them; more so on how everything looks through them, and the way that it makes the user feel. Since then we’ve gathered a dedicated community from all corners of the globe who pride themselves in seeing things differently.
